His full name is Mason Tony Mount. He was born on 10th January 1999 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England, United Kingdom to his parents Debbie Mount, his mother, and Tony Mount, his father. Mason joined the youth team of Chelsea when he was 15 years of age. He was loaned to the Dutch Eredivisie, Vitesse in 2017.
After a season with Vitesse, he was loaned again to Derby County on 17 July 2018. On 15 July 2019, Mount signed a new five-year contract with Chelsea, which would keep him at the club until 2024.
