Marshawn Lynch career

Lynch spent 12 seasons as a player in the National Football League (NFL). He was known as “Beast Mode” and played most of his career for the Seattle Seahawks.

Lynch participated in collegiate football at the University of California, Berkeley, where he was named to the first team of All-Americans and established himself as the second-leading rusher in program history.

He was taken in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills, where he played for three complete seasons before joining Seattle in the 2010 campaign.

From 2010 through 2015, Lynch was a member of the Seahawks and was selected for four straight Pro Bowls, one first-team All-Pro team, and two league-leading rushing touchdown totals.

In Super Bowl XLVIII, he also contributed to the team’s first Super Bowl victory. One of the best NFL rushes was his Beast Quake touchdown run in the 2010–11 postseason, which saw him break nine tackles while rushing for 67 yards.

Lynch left the NFL in 2015 after a year marred by injuries, but he made a comeback with the Oakland Raiders in 2017. Lynch made a second retirement after two seasons, but he didn’t rejoin the Seahawks until their last regular-season game and postseason run in 2019.

Lynch stated that clubs have shown interest in signing him and that he is willing to sign with a team that is a Super Bowl contender in a December 2020 interview with Conan O’Brien.

Lynch and his playing style were often referred to as “Beast Mode” by fans. Lynch claims that the nickname came up as a result of one of his childhood coaches calling him a beast, even though the phrase has been in usage since 1996 with the release of the animated Transformers series Beast Wars.

Since then, Lynch has transformed the moniker into his Beast Mode brand, which consists of a clothing line, a shop, and at least one collaboration with an international company.

On February 7, 2016, during Super Bowl 50, Oakland, California’s first Beast Mode store debuted. The music video for rapper Ludacris’ single “Beast Mode,” which bears Lynch’s moniker and features Lynch, was made available on April 8, 2015.

In the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Lynch appears in a cameo. Additionally, he made an appearance in Tanked’s fourth episode of the sixth season, whereby “BeastMode” was given its own fish tank. This episode debuted on June 19, 2015.

He appears as the playable “Dante ‘Beast Mode’ Jefferson” in the video game Predator: Hunting Grounds. Todd Lyons, a former professional BMX rider, approached Lynch after noticing that Lynch used his BMX gear.

As the current brand manager for the BMX firm SE Bikes, Lyons collaborated with Marshawn to design the Beast Mode Ripper, an adult-sized BMX bike with exclusive Beast Mode branding as a 2018 SE Bicycle.
