Marcus Mariota Wife: Is Marcus Mariota Married?

Atlanta Falcons’ quarterback in the National Football League(NFL), Marcus Mariota was born October 30th, 1993 in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Mariota was born to Alana Deppe-Mariota and Toa Mariota. He has German ancestry from his mother’s side and Samoan ancestry from his father. He shares the same parents with his brother, Matt who is also a football player.

He grew up looking up to fellow Samoan quarterback Jeremiah Masoli. At the Saint Louis School and the University of Oregon, Masoli performed exceptionally well. Mariota describes himself as an ardent Christian.

While a student at the Saint Louis School in Honolulu, Mariota excelled in both football and track. He didn’t begin playing football until his senior year, which prevented him from receiving much attention until his senior year of high school.

As a senior, he contributed to St. Louis’ 11-1 record and state championship by winning the PrepStar Magazine All-West Region and Interscholastic League of Honolulu Offensive Player of the Year awards.

In the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans made him their selection. Mariota served as the team’s starting quarterback for Oregon from 2012 to 2014 while he was a collegiate football player there.

Mariota made history in 2014 when he won the Heisman Trophy as a junior while also representing the University of Oregon.

Beginning in his second season as the team’s starting quarterback after the Titans had only won five games combined in the previous two seasons, Mariota led the franchise to three consecutive winning seasons, the most since the team was known as the Houston Oilers.

Halfway through the 2019 season, the team benched him and Ryan Tannehill, who they had acquired through trade earlier in the summer, took over as the starting quarterback. The following year, Mariota joined the Las Vegas Raiders and served as Derek Carr’s backup before joining the Falcons in 2022.

During the Falcons’ 27-26 loss to the rival New Orleans Saints in the season opener, Mariota threw for 215 yards and ran for 72 yards and a running touchdown.

Mariota was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 6 after going 13 for 14 for 129 yards and two touchdowns, along with 50 rushing yards and a score in a 28-14 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

According to online sources, Marcus Mariota is quite comfortable in his life. He has a net worth estimated to be about $12 million. He is a Nike ambassador, and also endorses Island Insurance and First Hawaiian Banks.

Marcus Mariota is not known to have kids yet. However, he is married to Kiyomi Cook. We believe that Marcus and his wife have plans on having their own family anytime soon.
