She developed a passion for playing basketball at a younger age, has been consistent throughout her career, and has risen to become one of the most sought-after basketball players.

This comes two years after an incident with the Nigerian team ended her career with the Australia women’s national basketball team (Opals).
Cambage was dumped from the Opals after allegedly telling Nigerian players to “go back to their third-world country” during a pre-Olympics practice match in 2021.
The next Olympic Games will be held in Paris, France, from 26 July to 11 August 2024, and with her father being a Nigerian, Cambage is eligible to play with the team.
