Dawson was recalled to the full T20I squad for the England tour of West Indies in 2022.
In August 2023, he hit the headlines as he inspired his team (Hampshire) to cruise to their first One-Day Cup final in four years after beating Warwickshire.
Hampshire will meet Leicestershire, who beat Gloucestershire by six wickets in the other semi-final, in the final at Trent Bridge on Saturday 16 September.
