Famous American actress, Laverne Cox was born on May 29th, 1972 in Mobile, Alabama in the United States of America.

She is well-known for her advocacy for the LGBTQi community in the United State. Laverne was the first transgender to be nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards in an acting category.

He is a pianist and operatic countertenor whose work combines performance, installation, cinema, and sculpture. In two episodes of the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, he portrays his sister’s pre-transition persona, for which he is also well-known.

Prior to leaving Yale to focus on music, he attended the San Francisco Art Institute to study painting and Yale to pursue a master’s degree in sculpting.
