Kill the Justice League open world?

After some delays, we’re finally within touching distance of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and we’re now close enough to start wondering if it will feature an open world.

This is the latest game from Rocksteady that’s inspired by the world of DC Comics, although after the studio’s Batman Arkham trilogy, they’ve moved on to building a game around the Suicide Squad. Let’s take a look at whether you can explore the world freely or if it will have a more linear structure.

Does Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League feature an open world?

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League does feature an open world. This means that each playable character will have their way of traversing around the city ranging from Deadshot’s jetpack to Captain Boomerang’s super speed.

I’m hoping the world is a healthy size, but not so large it feels bloated and daunting.

Where is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League set?

The game is set in Metropolis, the fictional city most famous for being home to Superman, and by the looks of the trailers, you’ll be coming to blows with him at some point during the game – so good luck with that.

This will be the only location to feature in the game and it will be fully explorable by the characters in co-op as well. The four playable characters are Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang, although there has been speculation more will arrive later down the line.
