John Gotti Cause Of Death – John Gotti was popular for the wrong reasons. He was known to be a notorious  American criminal and the head of the Gambino crime family in New York City. He was the fifth child of his parent’s 13 children. John Joseph Gotti and Frannie Gotti, the gangster’s parents were all Italians.

John Gotti nicknamed Teflon Don was an American born in the South Bronx, New York in the United States of America on October 27, 1940. At age 12, he moved with his family to stay in the North Bronx.

Moving forward, he ran errands for Carmine Fatico, a mafia at that time who was a part of the Gambino crime family before meeting Aniello Dellacroce who became his mentor. Attending high school at Franklin K. Lane High School, Gotti didn’t see the benefit of schooling.

He committed petty crimes that led to him spending time behind bars a couple of times. With time he started engaging in major crimes which landed him some years in jail. He had a hand in several murders and other crimes.

In 1992 he was convicted for all his crimes and sentenced to life imprisonment. On June 10, 2002, he died of throat cancer.
