He made his pantomime comeback in 2007 when he played the lead in Peter Pan at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley. One year later, he played the same part again, this time with Leslie Grantham as Captain Hook at the Beck Theatre in Hayes.

After taking a year off in 2010, he went back to pantomime in 2011 and costarred with Larry Lamb as Wishee Washee in Aladdin at the Croydon Ashcroft Theatre.

The next year, Tracini played Buttons once more, this time with former EastEnder Joe Swash and close friend Dani Harmer at York’s Barbican Centre.

He again took a break from the pantomime stage in 2013 due to his Hollyoaks filming schedule, but after finishing his work on the soap, he returned in November 2014, this time reprising the role of Buttons in Cinderella at Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre alongside Julian Clary and Niki Evans, star of The X Factor (UK series 4).

His departure from the soap opera was revealed in April 2014, with his farewell scenes airing in November of the same year. He made 165 appearances overall. He will make a brief comeback to Hollyoaks in August 2018.
