Jennifer Robertson came to prominence after working as a writer on another CBC comedy series, entitled “This Hour Has 22 Minutes” (2003-2004), as well as the highly popular CTV comedy sketch series “Comedy Inc.” (2003-2010), in which she also portrayed various roles. 

 In 2004, she wrote – and featured in the lead role of – the made-for-TV comedy film “To Die 4”, alongside Geri Hall and Jennifer Whalen. She then continued to work on TV films, starring in the role of Illeana in the Disney Channel original film “Twitches”, which is based on the book series of the same title, and portraying a parent in the A&E drama film “Knights Of The South Bronx”, along with Ted Danson, both released in 2005 – her performance in “Twitches” earned her a Canadian Comedy Award in the category of Best Performance by a Female – Film.

Jennifer Robertson’s next major role came in 2007, when she was cast as anchorwoman Jennifer Lange in the Fox News satire comedy show “The ½ Hour News Hour”; however, the series didn’t last long, canceled after a single season

Jennifer gained enormous popularity when she joined the main cast of the critically acclaimed Canadian sitcom “Schitt’s Creek”, in which she landed the role of Jocelyn Schitt, the mayor’s wife, in more than 60 episodes from 2015 to 2020.

In 2021, Jennifer Robertson was selected to play Lisa in the Canadian Christmas romantic comedy film “Single All The Way”, in which she shared the screen with Luke Macfarlane and Barry Bostwick. 

Later that year, she became a regular cast member as Ellen Baker in the American comedy-drama series “Ginny & Georgia”, which continues to be aired on Netflix.
