James Pearce Education

James Pearce Education: James Pearce is a British journalist who was brought up in Pirbright, Surrey.

He’s also a presenter for BBC Sport. He has reported from eight Olympic Games and was the Olympic correspondent for the BBC at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Pearce formerly worked for Liverpool Echo, a daily newspaper for the English Premier League club, Liverpool Football Club.

At Liverpool Echo, he covered the fortunes of Liverpool FC across the globe to give fans the inside track on the Reds from the dressing room to the boardroom.

At this time of writing (Monday, August 21, 2023), Pearce works for The Athletic, a subscription-based sports journalism website, and the sports department of The New York Times.

He joined The Athletic after 14 years working for the Liverpool Echo. According to his social media bio, he’s the Liverpool FC reporter for The Athletic.
