In the AFL’s fundraising State of Origin for Bushfire Relief Match in February, Riewoldt played his first game of the 2020 season, scoring two goals while playing for his native Tasmania as a member of the allied All-Stars team.

Reiwoldt participated in his eighth career draw in Round 1 of 2023, setting a league record. On August 15, he made his retirement announcement, and that weekend, he played his farewell game against North Melbourne.
