Players will be wondering if Shipment is set to come Modern Warfare 3 at all, as the iconic map has been in a number of the older entries, especially in the MW series.
Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer has drawn in lots of players, with many happy at the changes to how the game plays and feels. Aspects like slide cancelling or equipping two primary weapons has changed, but is the legendary Shipment still the same? Read on below to find out.
Is Shipment coming to Modern Warfare 3?
Shipment is confirmed to be coming back in Modern Warfare 3, and it will be releasing as part of the first season.
This news was broken in an AMA on the r/ModernWarfareIII subreddit by the official Sledgehammer Games account.

In response to a question about the amount of gunfight maps in Season 1, Sledgehammer responded saying “there will be 6 2v2 maps in rotation in Season 1”.
Four of these maps were confirmed to be Carry-Forward maps from MW2, while another one was revealed as Training Facility.
However, the final line of the comment read, “Shipment will also return”, confirming that the iconic map from the original Modern Warfare in 2007 will be part of the line-up once again.
There’s still no exact date on when Shipment will be debuting in Modern Warfare 3, but we know to expect it sometime within Season 1, which is expected to take place for a couple of months.
I personally can’t wait to play Shipment again, purely because it’s an efficient map when it comes to farming XP and levelling up quickly.
