Vitali Klitschko is a former professional heavyweight boxer and current Ukrainian politician with an estimated net worth of $80 million. Vitali Klitschko and Natalija Jehorova, a former athlete and model, got married on April 26, 1996. They have three children. Vitali and Natalija confirmed their divorce on August 15, 2022.

Meanwhile, Vitali Klitschko was born on July 19, 1971, in Belovodskoye, Kirghiz SSR, Soviet Union. That area is today known as Kyrgyzstan. Vitali was raised by his father, who was a Soviet Air Force major general and military attaché in East Germany. This father was one of the commanders in charge of cleaning up after the Chernobyl nuclear tragedy, and he was afflicted with cancer shortly thereafter.

Klitschko supported himself financially as a young man by working as a toolmaker at the Kyiv Automation Plant. Many years later, he was suspected of acting as a debt collector for a mafia lord in the 1990s, which Vitali has categorically denied. Klitschko graduated from the Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky Pedagogical Institute in 1996, the same year he turned pro. He received his Ph.D. in Sports Science in 2000 after presenting his dissertation thesis on “talent and sponsorship in sports”.

Vitali won several world heavyweight championships throughout his career. He held the WBO title from 1999 to 2000, followed by the WBC belt from 2004 until 2013. He defeated 15 different boxers in fights for the world heavyweight title.

Vitali and his brother Wladimir Klitschko hold the world record for the most world heavyweight title bout victories as brothers. These accomplishments lead to a period from 2006 to 2015 being dubbed the “Klitschko Era.”
