The ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Super 12 phase starts on October 23 with the 5 times World Champions Australia clashing with the Proteas. Both of them stand as able contenders for being the possible ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Semi finalists.
The teams in the Super 12 stage have been divided into two groups:

Group 1:
- England: The template of playing white-ball cricket set by the Englishmen over the last 4-5 years has brought about a massive turnaround in their fortunes on the world stage. Their aggressive brand of cricket has put them a level apart. Their dominance in white-ball cricket worldwide is an example of that. The trio of Jason Roy, Jos Buttler, and Jonny Bairstow might turn out to be a nightmare for the opposition. With natural match winnerspacked in the squad, they are expected to top the group in the Super 12s.
- Australia: Though the mighty Aussies have performed below average in the various editions of the tournament so far, their skill level and talent always make them one of the favorites. Australia always has been the team to beat when it comes to ICC Tournaments. - India: The Men in Blue, on pen and paper, are currently the best in the World. The quality and depth they possess in their squad are quite remarkable. The top 3 of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli are by far the best among all the Nations. Also having a bowler like Jasprit Bumrah to lead the attack alongside the likes of Md. Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the mystery of Varun Chakravarthy all together make the bowling unit World Class. Not only should they top the group stages, if they are to do justice to their ability, but they must also go on to lift the World Cup.
- Pakistan: Pakistan over the years has built a strong T20 squad. Captain Babar Azam and his consistency with the bat lies as their primary strength. Overall they have a decent balance in their squad with a good mix of youth and experience. The pace of Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi makes their bowling line-up a solid one. They are expected to qualify from Group 2 along with India for the Semifinals.
