Where to find the griffon in Final Fantasy 16: Dozmare Notorious Mark map location

As you can see in the image above, the Dozmare Notorious Mark griffin can be found at the western gate of Caer Norvent, which is located south of Lostwing and Norvent Valley.
While it’s a bit of a hike, the best Obelisk to fast travel to is Lostwing. A lot of players get a bit lost, as the most likely Obelisk to pick is Caer Norvent Glorieuse Gate, but it’s on the complete opposite side of where you want to be, and there’s no way through Caer to get to the western gate. off a very long walk.
After fast traveling to the Obselisk Lostwing, head south through the Norvent Valley until you reach Caer Norvent. Once you cross the bridge, step onto the green by the castle wall and a cutscene should start, revealing and beginning the Dozmare Hunt.

Once you have completed the Dozmare Hunt and defeated the Notorious Mark griffin, you will be entitled to the following rewards:
- 8500 gil
- 20 Renown
- 650 EXP
- 55 skill points
- 1x scarlet
- 1x meteorite
The first two are generous rewards for completing the Hunt in question, but it’s nice that you’re also handsomely rewarded for taking down what could be a difficult foe for many as well.
Additionally, you can also get Drakeslayer’s Belt Skin Draft by completing the Blacksmith’s Blues plus symbol side quest, so make sure you talk to Blackthorne to complete the quest and get your rewards there too.
