What is Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp?
Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp is a brand-new training mode debuting in Warzone on April 3, 2024, with Season 3. Veteran players may not realise it, but this battle royale has a lot of moving parts, and it can be overwhelming for first-timers.
So, this mode is designed to help newcomers get familiar with the game and build enough confidence to comfortably hop into official matches of Warzone.

This mode only supports Quads, so you can invite your friends or fill your squad with three random teammates. Altogether, Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp matches 20 players and 24 bots. To account for the scaled-down player count, the action is restricted to a randomised part of Urzikstan.
Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp is a barebones version of Warzone, and since it includes bots, you cannot use it to progress Daily and or Weekly Challenges, Calling Card Challenges, Weapon Challenges, or the Champion’s Quest. Furthermore, you won’t find Public Events or Advanced Contracts in Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp. You can earn limited Player, Weapon, and Battle Pass XP, though!
Can bots can only be found in Bootcamp?
Bots are exclusive to Call of Duty: Warzone Bootcamp (with the exception of Warzone Mobile). For now, this training mode is the only place you’ll find them in Warzone. The developer promises that if bots expand to other modes in the future, they’ll make an announcement ahead of time, and it won’t be a secret.
Whether you’re new to Warzone or a longtime player who just wants to try out new loadouts or mess around in a less competitive environment, this training mode is definitely worth a try. You’ll still face off against a helping of real players, but the addition of bots ensures that you’ll run into at least a few mindless drones.
