Step 1: Open the photo you want to share in the Gallery app on your phone, tap the share button, and then select Duo from the share menu.

Now that we’ve figured out how to share photos, let’s check out some other helpful tips.

How to turn off Video Preview in Google Duo

By default, Google Duo displays a video preview of the person making the call on the recipient’s screen. While it’s a pretty handy feature that lets users know at a glance who’s calling, it might not be the best feature if you just like surprises.

Thankfully, there’s an easy way to turn it off. Just follow these steps to turn off video previews in Google Duo:

Step 1: Tap the menu button in the top right corner of the Duo main screen and select the Settings option.

It’s as simple as that. Now, every time you make a video call on Duo, the person on the other end won’t be able to see the video preview.

How to share voice and video messages on Duo

Duo is more than just a video calling app that lets you share photos with friends. You can even use it to share short video and voice messages if you don’t want to sit through the entire call. Just follow these steps to share voice and video messages on Duo:

Step 1: Swipe down on the Google Duo homepage.

How to disable Duo calls

Wondering how to receive Duo calls on your phone even if you haven’t signed up for the service? Well, Google’s App Preview Messaging feature is the cause here. And if you turn that off, you’ll turn off Duo calls entirely on your phone. Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Go to the Settings app and select Google settings.
