1. Choose a photo from your camera roll
First, open Snapchat and tap the camera icon in the middle of the bottom navigation bar.
Open Snapchat > camera icon > select the photo/video that you want to send as a normal snapshot.
Then swipe up to access your Snapchat memories.
Once you’re in your memories, tap “Camera Roll” to open your photo library.
Select the photo/video to which you want to send the snapshot as a normal snapshot.

Let’s say you selected a photo and sent it to one of your friends.
If you do, the photo will be a photo in the chat instead of a snapshot, so you don’t want to do that.
Instead, you need to go back, select the photo, and edit it.
2. Click edit and save it
Once you’ve selected a photo or video from your photo library that you want to send as a normal snapshot, you need to edit the photo.
Press and hold the photo for 3 seconds, select “Edit photo”, then save the photo.

4. Tap the “+” icon and select “post”
Once you are logged in, tap the “+” icon.
Click on the “+” icon > select the “Post” section.
When you tap the “+” icon, you want to select the “Post” section.
Sometimes you will come to a random section (eg Poll, Compare).
The section you will use is the “Post” section.
This is where you can send a photo or video from your camera roll like a normal snapshot.
Select “Post” to upload photos/videos from your camera roll to the app.
5. Select the camera icon and use your saved post
The fifth step is to select the camera icon in the left corner of the screen.
Tap the camera icon to open your camera roll.
Select the photo you just saved from Snapchat.
After you select the camera icon, your photo gallery will be opened.
Select your previously saved photo/video (photo/video you just saved from Snapchat).
Please note that you cannot select multiple photos or videos.
If you want to send multiple snapshots from your camera roll like a regular snapshot, you have to take them one at a time.
6. Tap “Post to Snapchat”
Once you’ve selected your previously saved photo or video, tap “Post to Snapchat” to post to Snapchat.
Click “Post to Snapchat” to post the photo/video to Snapchat.
After you tap “Post to Snapchat,” your photo will be in the background.
Once you have tapped “Post to Snapchat”, it will open the Snapchat app and your previously saved photos will be in the background.
Since LMK is a Q&A app, there will be a Q&A sticker above your photo.
7. Remove stickers and attachments
Next, you’ll want to remove stickers and attachments from the LMK app.
Remove a sticker by dragging and dropping it to the trash, and delete an attachment by tapping the “Paperclip” icon > “Delete Attachment”.
Remove stickers and attachments that make the photo/video look like a legitimate snap.
Stickers and attachments are automatically generated, so you’ll want to remove them so your snaps look real.
Stickers are similar to Instagram stickers, where you can drag to move and remove it.
Simply drag the photo at the bottom of the screen to the trash and the sticker will be removed.
There will also be an attachment letting people know that the snapshot is from the LMK app.
To delete an attachment, tap the “Paperclip” icon on the left side of your screen.
After you tap the “Paperclip” icon, it will open the LMK app.
Once the LMK app is open, tap “Delete Attachment” to remove the attachment from your photo/video.
Now the photo/video looks legit as if you just took it like a normal Snapchat snap.
8. Send Snapshots!
Finally, tap the arrow icon and your friends/recent friends list will open.
Once you send a photo/video from the LMK app, it will be sent as a normal snapshot.
The photo/video will be marked as “Sent” and “Received” instead of appearing in the chat.
Select the friend(s) you want to send the photo to and tap the arrow icon to send it.
After you send the photo/video, it will be marked as “Sent”.
As you can see, the photo/video you sent is not the photo/video in the app.
Instead, the person who receives it will have to open it like a normal snap of a finger.
