How to Get Galaxy S7 Like Scrolling Screenshot on Androids

What is the best way to share a chat from WhatsApp or a text message in some other chat? Well, if your guess was to take screenshots and chats and send them, you’re absolutely right. Sometimes, when I want to share my chat with someone on WhatsApp, I always take screenshots and then send them and things go awry when the chat is too small.

Complications arise when there are more than 2 screenshots that I need to take while scrolling through the chat. Also, making sure it’s delivered in the correct order is a pain, and one miss makes the whole conversation pointless.

To help in such situations, Samsung launched scrolling screenshots with Note5 and they have continued this feature in Samsung Galaxy S7 where users can take scrolling screenshots of the screen and then then sends it as a large image file that the person can read in one go. We have introduced this feature to Samsung users and to others, there is an app for this feature that brings this feature to any Android phone even without root access. Let’s have a look.

Stitch & Share for Android

Stitch & Share is a great app with similar functionality, and once you install and launch the app, it works in the background. Initially, the app will give you a small tutorial on how to take the screenshots in order so that they are properly stitched. Just make sure you overlap some parts of the screen in between the screenshots so that the app stitches them together correctly.

Step 2: Now scroll down and make sure that one of the elements matches the previous screenshot and take a second screenshot. Repeat this until you take a screenshot of the entire page.

Step 4: All the screenshots will be arranged there one by one and the overlapping area helps the app to ensure they are stitched in the right place. You can even add a caption if you click the edit button, and that can be useful when you want to hide certain options of the chat in the screenshot.

Note: If you don’t receive a screenshot merging message after taking it, you can use the + sign to create it manually by selecting a screenshot from the gallery.

Step 5: Once you’re done, tap the share button and your screenshot will be ready to share. However, keep in mind that the share url option will actually upload the screenshot to the Stitch & Share server and share a link online. If you want to send or save the image as a file, go to Share folder options and continue.
