The process of entering an Overwatch 2 custom game code is a bit finicky. In order to enter a code, the first thing you need to do is go to the Play menu. Now click on Custom Games, then click the Create button. When your new custom game screen comes up, click on Settings.
On the right side of the screen, you will see Summary, with several buttons underneath it. Highlight the second of these buttons and you will see it is the Import Code button. Press it, then enter a custom game code into the text box. This will import the related game mode, allowing you to set up your own games of that mode.

If you haven’t tried out custom games before, they are essentially modes in which the rules of the game are entirely different. Players can create their own new modes, and come up with entirely new ways to play the game.
