How to Claim the T-Mobile Tuesdays Stock and Rewards

T-Mobile announced in June a new weekly event for existing wireless customers called T-Mobile Tuesdays. It promises free stuff every Tuesday with no gimmicks or claims attached, as long as you’re a T-Mobile subscriber. In addition, clients receive a free portion of $TMUS shares in trading in US stocks.

However, many customers have complained from the start that T-Mobile’s Tuesdays app is confusing, doesn’t work, and makes it difficult to redeem rewards and free stock. T-Mobile has made updates, but the woes continue. Let’s find out exactly how to get the most out of T-Mobile Tuesdays for iOS and Android.

How to Redeem T-Mobile’s Third Prize

For the record, it’s Tuesday at the time of this writing, and that’s no coincidence. If you open the app any other week, it’s almost useless.

However, on Tuesday, opening the application will reveal one of two main prize opportunities. First up is this week’s “booty,” which is just a weekly sweepstakes that you can enter for free. You know immediately if you have won or not by pressing Start playing and then play the game to see if you win the grand prize.

This week’s sponsor is StubHub, so I can play games to win anything from a basic StubHub ticket to a full concert trip. I played the game and won a “night out” with StubHub, so that game was added to My Content.

My stuff is where the rest of your Tuesday awards will be held. Every Tuesday, you immediately receive three redeemable prizes. These don’t require any games, they just show up in My stuff dashboard. Over the past few weeks, these prizes have been a free mini Frosty from Wendy’s, a free ride with Lyft, and a free movie rental with Vudu. These are obviously great freebies, but hopefully next Tuesday T-Mobile will mix things up a bit.

Each offer is different. Frosty requires you to simply hand your phone to the cashier while redeeming it in the app, while others like Lyft allow you to pick it up directly by clicking a link and/or entering a code promotion.

How to get T-Mobile stock back for free

This is a particularly confusing part. It sounded like the initial announcement that every T-Mobile customer would get a free portion of stock. Turns out this is not the case.

In fact, only new T-Mobile customers who bring their phone numbers from a previous carrier are eligible for the stock award. In addition, those new customers are eligible to receive more stock for each person they refer to join T-Mobile. Existing T-Mobile customers, i.e. those who signed up for T-Mobile prior to T-Mobile Tuesday, are not eligible for this offer.

If you are eligible for free stock, it must be under My stuff in the T-Mobile app Tuesday. Click Redeemthen you will have to set up a brokerage account and claim shares through LOYAL3.
