How to breed Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

To breed Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you first need to catch Ditto in Medali.

After you catch Ditto, buy “Compote du Fils” from “Gastronomie En Famille”.

Finally, set up a Picnic and wait for your Pokemon to spawn and the egg(s) to spawn in the basket.

How to breed Pokemon (with Ditto):

Catch a Ditto in Medali West.
Purchase “Compote du Fils” from “Gastronomie En Famille” at Medali West (optional).
Set up a picnic and wait for your Pokemon to spawn.
Check the egg(s) in the basket.

If you don’t want to catch Ditto, you need to organize a Picnic with Pokemon of the same egg group and of the opposite sex.

For example, Dragonite (male and water 1) can spawn with Toxapex (female and water 1).

Although optional, “Compote du Fils” is a food with level 2 egg energy, which helps you get eggs faster.
