Here’s the voice cast for Star Wars Outlaws so far

Star Wars Outlaws looks to expand upon the well-trodden lore of a galaxy far, far away, by introducing a whole new cast of characters for the smuggling-themed adventure.

Although there are some familiar faces to be spotted in the recent trailers, the game will mostly feature a new roster of heroes and villains. We don’t know a great deal about most of them, but the three main characters have all had their voice actors revealed via IMDb.

There are currently only three voice actors that we know about for Star Wars Outlaws so far, and those are the three main characters of Kay Vess, Nix, and ND-5.

Kay Vess – Humberly González

Key Vess is the main protagonist of Outlaws and who we’ll be controlling in this Star Wars adventure. She’s a freelance smuggler, and as far as we gather from the story so far is working with the various underground organisations across the galaxy to pull off a major heist.

Vess is voiced by Humberly González, a Canadian voice actor who’s best known for her work in Ginny & Georgia, In the Dark, and Utopia Falls. You might also recognise her voice from another recent Ubisoft title – she lent her voice to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, too.

Nix – Dee Bradley Baker

Nix is a Merqaal, a new alien species for the Star Wars universe and Vess’s companion throughout the adventure. They’re adorable, almost fox-like creatures, and Nix can be semi-controlled by the player during gameplay. During the game’s big reveal in 2023, we saw Vess ordering Nix around the world, with the companion activating nearby buttons and scavenging weapons from the battlefield.

Dee Bradley Baker lends his voice to Nix, and he’s no stranger to Star Wars properties. He also voices Batcher and other Clone Troopers in The Bad Batch animated show. He’s also starred in several other animated shows, including Phineas and Ferb, Monsters at Work, and Mickey Mouse Funhouse.

ND-5 – Jay Rincon

Last but not least, we have ND5, a Commando Droid from the Clone Wars era that’s clearly been programmed to be useful as a Smuggler. In what we’ve seen of Star Wars Outlaws so far, it appears that ND-5 is working alongside Vess to pull off a heist. However, it’s not out of the question that their allegiance could sway depending on the actions of Vess in the story.

Jay Rincon voices ND-5 here, who’s no stranger to the video game world. He voiced Bruno in Dead Island 2, P-3 in Atomic Heart, and Gilvarn in Horizon Forbidden West. Most notably, he appeared as Antoine Reese in the 2018 series of Coronation Street – what an icon.

Additional characters with unnamed cast members

There are a couple of familiar faces from the wider Star Wars universe that make an appearance in Outlaws, but I’m not entirely sure who voices them just yet.

Jabba the Hutt

Even if you’re not familiar with Star Wars, you know who Jabba the Hutt is. This slug of a crime lord is known for ruling the world of scum and villainy across the galaxy, and given Outlaws is all about that seedy underbelly, it makes sense that he makes an appearance here.

Jabba has been voiced by several folks in the past, including Declan Mulholland in the original movies, and Kevin Michael Richardson in The Clone Wars animated show. It’s not yet been revealed who will be voicing him in Outlaws.

Qi’ra

Another familiar face, and surprising one at that, is Qi’ra, who you’ll recognise from her appearance in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Originally played by Emilia Clark, the 2018 movie was a bit of a disaster, and as such the characters and storylines haven’t really gone anywhere since.

That’s changing with Outlaws, as Qi’ra makes her return. As we learn from the events of Solo, she becomes the leader of the Crimson Dawn, a crime syndicate that reports back to Darth Maul, lurking in the shadows.

Sadly, while Qi’ra makes a prominent appearance, Massive has confirmed that Emilia Clarke will not be reprising her role as the character. I’ll update this article when we learn who is taking up the mantle.

Sliro

Now for a face that’s entirely unfamiliar to the Star Wars universe, Sliro looks to be the main antagonist for Outlaws. As revealed in the story trailer for the game, very little is known about him so far. From what I can gather, he sits at the head of the Zerek Besh, another crime syndicate operating in the Outer Rim.

In the most recent trailer, we can see that he’s put a bounty out on Vess and Nix, so he’s clearly got a personal score to settle with them. We’ll surely learn more about this character as the release date draws near, as well as who’s lending their voice to the character.
