When it comes to its cast of voice actors, Hades 2 is stacked with high-profile names from both in the world of games – and outside of it. That bodes well because this roguelike isn’t just about fighting your way through the Underworld, it’s about chatting to folk along the way, too.
Each of the voice actors in Hades 2 does an absolutely tremendous job of bringing the quirky characters to life, so much so that chatting to the cast of gods is one of my favourite things to do in the game. Below, I’ve listed out every voice actor for every character I’ve found in the game so far.

There are a total of 25 voice actors that lend their voices in Hades 2, with some voicing more than one character. You’ll likely spot a few familiar names on the list, of whom I’ll dive into deeper below.
Hecate – Amelia Tyler

Amelia Tyler has shot to the top of the hotlist in video game voice acting royalty, with her role as the Narrator in Baldur’s Gate 3 catapulting her career into the limelight. She was nominated for several awards for her work on Baldur’s Gate 3, and it’s fantastic to see her appear as Headmistress Hecate here in Hades 2.
Asa Butterfield – Icarus
Upon meeting Icarus for the first time, you’ll no doubt recognise perhaps the most famous voice on the cast list – Asa Butterfield. Cut from the cloth of Hollywood, his most recent breakout hit was Netflix’s Sex Education series, where he stars alongside Ncuti Gatwa and Emma Mackey.
Butterfield has been in the acting scene for over a decade as a child actor. You may also recognise him from films such as The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, Hugo, and Ender’s Game. Despite being a huge fan of video games himself (he was previously signed to a Super Smash Bros esports team), this is Butterfield’s first appearance in a video game – and hopefully not his last!
Multiple characters – Logan Cunningham

Lending his voice to six of the game’s several gods, Logan Cunningham is a returning actor from the original Hades. His commanding voice is lent to the titular character, where his booming presence sits perfectly.
Elsewhere, Cunningham is also known for his work on Dota 2, and has appeared in every single one of Supergiant’s games so far.
Narcissus and Schelemeus – Darren Korb
You’ll likely recognise Darren Korb’s name from Hades’ excellent soundtrack, of which he is the composer. His talents don’t end there, though, as he lends his voice acting skills to the characters of Narcissus and Schelemeus in Hades 2.
Korb also appeared in the first Hades game as the protagonist Zagreus, but I won’t spoil here whether that character makes a return in the sequel just yet…
