South Korean boy band Got7 was created by JYP Entertainment. Jay B, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom are the other members of the group. The first EP by Got7, titled Got It?, was released in January 2014, and it reached its highest point at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and number one on the Billboard World Albums Chart.
The group also attracted recognition for their live performances, which frequently feature aspects of street dancing and martial arts trickery.
Got7 released their debut Japanese-language single “Around the World” in the Japanese market in late 2014 after signing a deal with Sony Music Entertainment Japan. A month later, they returned to South Korea to debut Identify, their first full-length studio album, at the top of the country’s charts.
The EPs Just Right and Mad, which Got7 published in 2015, gave rise to their most commercially successful single, “Just Right.” They entered the Japanese market in 2016 with the release of Moriagatteyo, a full-length Japanese studio album that peaked at number three on the Oricon Albums Chart.
The group’s second full-length studio album Flight Log: Turbulence and fifth Korean EP Flight Log: Departure both reached the top of the charts, and the 2017 EP Flight Log: Arrival, the third and last installment of the group’s Flight Log series, became their first release to sell more than 300,000 copies.
After their agreement with JYP Entertainment’s contract expired in January 2021, the group left the company.
They have said that a future reunion is a possibility and that they intend to pursue their respective careers.
Despite the fact that each member of GOT7 was working for a different agency, the group made a comeback in May 2022.
