Affectionately known as Ariff Peter who has been in debt of more than RM1 million in two years, revealed to the New Straits Times that in addition to paying off his debt, he is now planning to get married.
He reportedly told an NST reporter that since his entire life was turned upside down following an ill-fated foray into cryptocurrency investing, only a few people stayed to get him the help he needed when he went down financially.
Ariff Peter said that amid this unfortunate event, he was grateful that there was one special person who supported him from the beginning. Hailing from Bintulu, the music artist recently undertook two jobs composing music for a local film this year, namely “Coast Guard” and “Mat Tudung”.
He said the first three months were extremely difficult as he had to adjust to living in his Proton Wira home after selling his livestock business, two houses, three cars including one imported and a truck to compensate customers for losses on their investments.
Ariff Peter said he has now secured a permanent job as a marketing director for a mortgage company and advises the public to be wary of any proposed investments, especially those that are questionable, and to never trust outsiders completely.
