Garret Wilson parents-American football wide receiver, Garrett Wilson was born on July 22nd, 2000 in Columbus, Ohio in the United States of America.
Wilson went to Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas, where he and Charlie Brewer won the 6A state title in 2016. Wilson went on to shatter several Lake Travis wide receiver marks, including career catch totals (204), total yards (3,359), and career touchdown totals (55).
At the 2019 All-American Bowl, Wilson participated. Wilson was a 5-star recruit straight out of high school, the country’s #2 receiver, and the 20th-best athlete overall. He decided to attend Ohio State University and play collegiate football there.
Wilson participated in all 14 games while a true freshman at Ohio State in 2019, recording 30 catches for 432 yards and five touchdowns.

The New York Jets selected Wilson in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 10th overall pick. In a 2020 transaction that sent Jamal Adams to the Seattle Seahawks, the Jets acquired the prior draft choice.
In Week 1’s matchup with the Baltimore Ravens, he made his NFL debut. He scored his first two NFL touchdowns in Week 2, against the Cleveland Browns, as part of an eight-reception, 102-yard performance in the 31-30 triumph.
He has six receptions for 115 receiving yards in the 22-17 defeat in Week 8 over the New England Patriots. He scored two receiving touchdowns in the 31-10 win in Week 12 against the Chicago Bears.
He recorded eight catches for 162 receiving yards in Week 13’s 27-22 defeat to the Minnesota Vikings. He has 83 catches for 1,103 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns at the end of his first season.
In a single season, he broke the rookie records for catches and receiving yards at his team. The PFWA All-Rookie Team selected him. Wilson won the Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award on February 9, 2023.
