However, the Partenopei did not shake hands with the player’s entourage, giving time to Al Ahli to hijack their bid to sign the 21-year-old midfielder.
According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, a medical has been booked for Veiga to take place on Thursday, 24th August after an agreement over his switch was reached with the player and both clubs.
