The Escape From Tarkov player count is growing with each new wipe, and we’ve got all of the latest overall and daily player count numbers, alongside the Twitch statistics too.

While Escape From Tarkov is a hardcore game at heart, the pure adrenaline that you gain in each raid is clearly enough to drive the extraction shooter to high player numbers. Furthermore, due to the unique wipe system in the game, we typically see massive player spikes at certain points in the year, making for some very high numbers – and inevitably strained servers.

So, continue reading to see all of the latest Escape From Tarkov player count details, as we’ve all of the latest details waiting for you below.

According to ActiverPlayer.io, Escape From Tarkov has roughly 2 million average players every month, with a total of 14 million over its lifetime. This monthly average tends to jump up and down depending on recent updates.

These are of course unofficial numbers, as Battlestate Games does not publish these details, but this estimate does line up with the Twitch viewership relative to other FPS games.

The Escape From Tarkov daily player count hovers between 200,000-300,000, with the game receiving 130,000 players a day on average over the past month. This is quite surprising considering a wipe was released in August, but you always have to take these numbers with a grain of salt due to it being through an unofficial channel.

Typically, wipe months bring big player spikes to the game, as people who have dropped off late-wipe return to the game, and new players jump in at the perfect time to try it out. We will never know for sure what the monthly players are though, as the game runs through its own launcher so tools like Steamdb are not available.

As you can see from the graph above, Escape From Tarkov has huge viewership spikes at certain points in the year, which are unsurprisingly after every wipe. According to TwitchTracker, the Escape From Tarkov peak concurrent viewership is 566,684 viewers, which was achieved on January 7, 2023.

Over the past seven days, it’s received an average of 37,715 viewers, putting it at rank 13 on Twitch overall.

Surprisingly, the game didn’t see as big of a Twitch spike as you would typically expect from a wipe month, with a peak viewership of only 97,437 on August 10, 2023 – which was wipe day. Comparatively, the last wipe brought the all-time Twitch peak listed above, but Summer wipes do seem to perform on a smaller scale than the Winter wipes for some reason.

So, that wraps up everything we currently know about the Escape From Tarkov player count but don’t be surprised if this goes up even more in the future.
