She developed a love for music at a very younger age and has been consistent throughout her career rising above the ranks to become one of the most sought-after acts within the entertainment space.

Ellie Goulding’s career kicked off after her meeting record producers, Starsmith and Frankmusik, and was later spotted by Jamie Lillywhite, who became her manager and A&R.

Her debut studio album, Lights was released in 2010 and it debuted at number 1 on the UK Albums Chart and has sold over 850,000 copies in the UK.

At the 2014 Brit Awards, she received the award for British Female Solo Artist and in 2015, she received her first Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance for her single Love Me Like You Do.

Ellie Goulding has since then released several other projects including her fifth studio album, Higher Than Heaven which was released on February 3, 2023

That same month, February 2023, Ellie Goulding made headlines after it was disclosed that, she had reportedly penned an X-rated track about her sex life.

The singer is said to have debuted the track, titled Waiting For It, at a small gig where she joked about what kind of ‘mood’ she was in when she wrote the lyrics.
