After Team 1 of the Versus promo in EA FC 24, we can now expect Team 2 to drop on January 12, 2024, at 6 PM GMT. The first team was full of great players from Ramos to Son who were bound to improve countless teams, as well as some more affordable options too.
It seems as though this will be the last promo in the game before the TOTY event drops, which voting has opened for, and thanks to popular leaker FUTSherriff, we know who we can expect to arrive this time around.
How do Versus cards work in Ultimate Team?
The Versus promo is one of my favourites on offer in Ultimate Team because it allows greater squad-building potential as well as some position changes for players.
Each player who is released in this promo will get two cards, one that represents Fire, and another representing Ice. Normally, the two cards are also for different positions. For example, in Team 1, Ramos has a CB card and a CDM card.
Outside of the position changes, they also have different stats and different PlayStyles, but most importantly, chemistry works differently depending on which card you have.
Fire cards will form greater links, and give boosts, to players of the same nationality, whilst Ice cards will boost any card who plays for the same club.

As we said earlier, pretty much the whole team has leaked at this point – but as always, it doesn’t mean they’re going to be correct. There is always a chance with leaks that they are wrong, so take them with a pinch of salt.
With that in mind, here are all the leaks so far:

- Marcus Rashford (Manchester United/England)
- Wendie Renard (Olympique Lyon/France)
- Antonio Rüdiger (Real Madrid/Germany)
- Kingsley Coman (Bayern Munich/France)
- Alexis Sanchez (Inter Milan/Chile)
- Joao Felix (FC Barcelona/Portugal)
- Fikayo Tomori (AC Milan/England)
- Christian Günter (Freiburg/Germany)
- Cody Gakpo (Liverpool/Netherlands)
- Richarlison (Spurs/Brazil)
If these leaks are accurate, Marcus Rashford will no doubt be the most expensive and desirable card released. You still have his base card used in teams now because of his combined trickery, pace and physicality. Rüdiger and Felix will be must-have players for anyone using a La Liga team as they are always very well-rounded cards.
I am currently using a lot of Serie A players, so either Tomori or Sanchez would be a great pull, although Tomori will be very unlikely due to just how expensive he normally is.
