The first real promo of EA FC 24 is upon us with the launch of the Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) in Ultimate Team, and we’ve got the release date, all of the leaked players, and how they upgrade so you can stay informed. In previous years, the first promo has always been Ones to Watch – a promo campaign celebrating the summer’s transfers.
The RTTK promo is all about the UEFA competitions, so only players who are playing in the Champions League, Women’s Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League are eligible.

When will EA FC 24 RTTK be released?

The Road to the Knockouts promo in EA FC 24 will be released on Friday, September 29 – the same day the game comes out of Early Access and is released to the masses. Like all promos, we can expect these cards to drop at 6pm BST.

Like always, a lot of cards for the upcoming EA FC 24 RTTK promo have leaked already. It is not guaranteed that every card leaked so far will be released on Friday though, as there could be a mini-release on Sunday, various SBCs, and it could even stretch to a two-week promo too.
Leaks are subject to change, or may just be wrong, so take the below with a pinch of salt. We will release updates with the full list of players once they are live.

How do RTTK cards work in EA FC 24? Upgrade path explained

RTTK cards will upgrade if they hit certain parameters. The first upgrade will be earned if they win two matches in the group. They will then receive another upgrade if they qualify for the next round of the competition. If a player earns both upgrades, they will go up by two ratings in EA FC 24.
That is all there is to know about EA FC 24’s first Ultimate Team Promo. Personally, I can’t wait for this campaign as it is one of the most exciting promos of the year. I just hope we get an RTTK James Ward-Prowse that gives him a solid pace boost so he can pull the strings in my midfield.
