EA FC 24 TOTW 29 player predictions, from Rafael Leao to Harvey Barnes

This last weekend had both high-profile matches and a number of big performances too, leaving us with plenty of top players in our TOTW 29 predictions in EA FC 24.

Team of the Week squads are a little behind the curve at this point in the game with new mega promo cards released in-game every Friday – but there’s still the odd player to get excited about, especially if they are from your favourite team or a game that you loved watching.

TOTW 29 predictions

  • Harvey Barnes (Newcastle United)
  • Ben Brereton Diaz (Sheffield United)
  • Rafael Leao (Milan)
  • Rodrygo (Real Madrid)
  • Moussa Diaby (Aston Villa)
  • Robert Andrich (Bayer Leverkusen)
  • Julian Ryerson (Borussia Dortmund)
  • Kristoffer Ajer (Brentford)
  • William Saliba (Arsenal)
  • Adam Marusic (Lazio)

Harvey Barnes certainly made an impact on Saturday to the dismay of any West Ham fans out there, as he dragged Newcastle from nothing to three points with two late goals. While Alexander Isak might still clinch a spot due to a greater number of goal contributions, the impact and quality of Barnes’ efforts propel him forward for me.

Real Madrid’s Rodrygo also picked up a vital brace in Sunday’s match against Athletic Club, earning the team another vital win to extend their position at the top of the table against another top-four side.

On the defensive side of things, I would be surprised not to see Arsenal’s William Saliba rewarded for his efforts in a title clash against Man City, even though he didn’t register any goal contributions. It could swing to his defensive partner Gabriel or even Declan Rice too, but the French international’s Man of the Match performance will likely edge it, despite leaving the Gunners in second place at the end of the day.

Pigs really did fly on Saturday too as Borussia Dortmund finally beat Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, with Julian Ryerson’s goal contributing significantly to the victory and extending BVB’s hopes for that all-important Champions League spot.

As a Liverpool fan, it would be fantastic to see Alexis Mac Allister rewarded for another outstanding midfield performance against Brighton, but I doubt that just one assist will be enough to go up against many of the other options.
