If you’ve just started playing Palworld, you’ll notice it has some very noticeable similarities to another creature-catching game where you can evolve some of the creatures, and you’re probably wondering if that feature is also included here.
The game is all about using Pals, the cute little creatures, to help you explore the world, build a base, and just generally try to survive. It won’t be easy as you combat the cold, starvation and battle hostile Pals you find in the world – some of which are huge. So keep on reading to find out if you can evolve the Pals, or if what you see is what you get.
Can Pals evolve in Palworld?

Pals can’t be evolved in Palworld, which may be a surprise for anyone who has seen the game.
It also doesn’t look like there are any plans to add this feature later down the line, but it does mean your Pal you have fallen in love with isn’t going to transform into a giant monster from a cute little fox.
Terms and conditions apply
You can unlock new items for different Pals, though, and even arm some of them with guns, so although they can’t evolve they can still be upgraded in various ways.
