How to Remove Oil-Based Paint Stains

Having to remove oil-based paint from your clothing is just not as easy as that of latex or emulsion. However, if you follow these steps below, you can have it done with ease.

• Paint Thinner
• Sponge
• Dish Soap
• Clean White Cloths or Paper Towels
• Pre-wash Stain Remover

Step 1: Scrape Off the Excess Paint

First of, try scraping off the excess paint from the fabric or clothing. After that, grab a clean white cloth or paper towel and use that also to blot as much as possible excess paint from the garment. A spoon can help scrape off dried up stains.

Step 2: Rinse the Fabric
