White won the NFC Defensive Player of the Week award in Week 7 after compiling a team-high 11 tackles, nine of which were solo, in a 45-20 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. White also set a career high with three sacks of quarterback Derek Carr, one of which led to a turnover.
In the Divisional Round matchup with the New Orleans Saints, White made his postseason debut. While the Buccaneers defeated the Saints 30-20, White led the team with 11 tackles (10 of which were solo), deflected one pass, recovered a fumble that was forced by teammate Antoine Winfield Jr., and intercepted a ball from Drew Brees.
White led the Buccaneers in tackles in the NFC Championship game against the Green Bay Packers, finishing with 15 (nine solo) and recovering a fumble that teammate Jordan Whitehead had caused. The Buccaneers won 31-26 to proceed to the Super Bowl LV.
