Denny Laine is survived by five children; Lucianne Grant, Heidi Hines, Laine Hines, Damian James, and Ainsley Laine-Adams.

The late singer shares two children, a son and a daughter with his ex-wife, Jo Jo Laine. They are Laine Hines and Heidi Jo Hines. He also had three other children from other relationships. They are; Lucianne Grant, Damian James, and Ainsley Laine-Adams.

The date of birth, age, education, and occupation of Laine’s children are unknown to us as of this writing since they live away from the spotlight.

Denny Laine died at 79 from interstitial lung disease at Naples Hospital on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. His wife announced his demise in a statement on his official Instagram page.

“My darling husband passed away peacefully early this morning. I was at his bedside, holding his hand as I played his favorite Christmas songs for him”

“He’s been singing Christmas songs the past few weeks and I continued to play Christmas songs while he’s been in ICU on a ventilator this past week”

“He and I both believed he would overcome his health setbacks and return to the rehabilitation center and eventually home”

“Unfortunately, his lung disease, Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), is unpredictable and aggressive; each infection weakened and damaged his lungs. He fought everyday”

“He was so strong and brave, never complained. All he wanted was to be home with me and his pet kitty, Charley, playing his gypsy guitar”

“Denny was so very thankful to all of you who sent him so much love, support and the many kind words during these past few months of his health crisis-it brought him to tears”

“I thank you all for sending both of us love and support. It was my absolute honor and privilege to not only be his wife, but to care for him during his illness and vulnerability”

Born in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Denny Laine developed a passion for music at a younger age, gave his first solo performance at age 12, and began his career as a professional musician

He co-founded two major rock bands: the Moody Blues, with whom he played from 1964 to 1966, and Wings, with whom he played from 1971 to 1981.

Apart from his stints with the bands; the Moody Blues and the Wings, Laine worked with several artists and groups over a six-decade career.

In 2018, Laine was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Moody Blues.

In 2022, Laine had COVID leading to multiple surgeries for lung issues, including a collapsed lung.
