Dakota Avery Goyo was born in 1999, in Canada, and is an actor, best known for his role in the film “Real Steel” in which he played the character Max Kenton. He was also a part of the film “Dark Skies” playing the character Jesse Barrett.

Not a lot of information is known about his education and upbringing, but shortly after his commercial work, he started receiving roles on television and in animated series.

Dakota Goyo was born to Debra, a former model and singer who manages his career, and David Goyo.

Dakota Goyo is the son of a former singer and model and grew up with two older brothers. His mother Debra became his manager for most of his life. As an infant, he already received exposure to acting, appearing in commercials.

Dakota Goyo has been active in the entertainment industry since 2005, and has continuously worked on projects until 2014.

Since then, he’s been quiet and the current status of his career is unknown. Nevertheless, all of his efforts have helped put him in the position he is in today.

His acting career kicked off in 2005, when he became a part of the Disney show entitled “JoJo’s Circus”. The Canadian stop motion series was created for pre-school children and was produced by two companies.

The show is written by Douglas Wood, known for his work in “Animaniacs”, and first aired on Disney as a part of the Playhouse Disney Lineup from 2003 to 2007. The following year, he worked on the film entitled “Ultra”, before a string of projects from 2007.

Dakota Goyo then appeared in the film “Resurrecting the Champ” in which he played the character Teddy, the son of Josh Hartnett’s character. The sports drama film was based on the “Los Angeles Times Magazine” article of the same name, following the life of a former athlete, played by Samuel L. Jackson, trying to impersonate the life and career of a former professional heavyweight boxer. 

Dakota Goyo had a lead role in the show “Solving Charlie” the pilot of which was aired through ABC. He played the titular orphaned child who has an IQ of 190, who helps his brother who is an aspiring detective, solve crimes.

In 2011, he appeared in his most notable role in the film “Real Steel”, playing the son of Hugh Jackman’s character. The film was in development for several years, and is based on the short story entitled “Steel” which was published in 1956 as a part of “The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction”.

For his personal life, not much is known in terms of any of Goyo’s romantic relationships. Several sources believe that he is single as he is still young and focused on developing his career.
