What are the current Mega Raids and Five-Star Raid bosses?

Confirmed by Pokemon GO Hub, the current Five-Star Raids and Mega Raids are for Regidrago and Mega Tyranitar respectively – both taking place on date and times of Tuesday, August 25 at 10AM local time to Friday, 4 August 10AM local time.

Bosses for each month in the Pokemon GO Raid schedule can be caught at any time. However, for the month’s 5-Star bosses mentioned below, the best chance you’ll have to encounter these is by logging on during the game’s Legendary Raid Hour, which takes place every Wednesday from 6PM to 7PM local time.

The Legendary Raid Hour will automatically activate a Raid for one of the 5-Star raid bosses, depending on which is available according to the schedule. So, let’s get into the current Pokemon GO raids schedule of bosses for August 2023, as found on Pokemon GO Hub and LeekDuck.

1-Star Raid bosses

  • Clefairy (CP 611-660)
  • Jigglypuff (CP 370-413)
  • Dratini (CP 529-574)
  • Snubbull (CP 656-707)

Amongst all of the Pokemon listed above, all of these raid bosses can be shiny. 

3-Star Raid bosses

Next, here is the list of 3-Star Raid in the current Pokemon GO Raid bosses schedule:

  • Arcanine (CP 1652-1731)
  • Macargo (CP 914-972)
  • Houndoom (CP 1432-1505)
  • Druddigon (CP 785-839)

Amongst all of the Pokemon listed above, only Houndoom and Druddigon can be shiny.

Can you beat a 3-Star Raid by yourself in Pokemon GO?

Depending on the specific boss and its CP, a 3-Star Raid is normally the highest-level raid a player can beat by themselves in Pokemon GO.

Of course, you’ll need to have a strong team in your own right, preferably with party members of 3000CP+ each, but you should be able to beat a 3-Star Raid boss up to around 16000CP on your own if you utilise type advantages.
