There’s always going to be excitement and intrigue surrounding a new hero shooter, and Concord is giving players the chance to dive into a preview of the action in its beta for PlayStation and PC.

I’ve got all of the start dates and times right here for you to check, alongside everything you need to access the action straight away.

Beta start date & time

There are two separate beta periods for Concord, with the Early Access Beta running from July 12-14, and then the Open Beta running from July 18-21.

Both the Early Access and Open Beta will unlock at the exact same times on their respective start dates, which are as follows in regional time zones:

You’ll also be able to pre-download the Open Beta starting from July 17 at 10 AM PDT/ 6 PM BST – so make sure to do that so you’re ready to play whenever it unlocks.

How to access the beta

While the Open Beta is free to access for all players, you need to have pre-ordered the game or be an active PlayStation Plus member in order to opt into the Early Access Beta period.

This was previously only available to pre-order holders but has since been opened up to all PS+ users on PlayStation. Unfortunately, that does mean that you’ll need to pre-order if you want to dive into the Early Access on PC – but you could just wait until the Open Beta weekend if you’re still not sure.

Does beta progress carry over?

Thankfully any progress that you make during the Early Access Beta period will carry over to the Open Beta weekend.

However, it will unfortunately be reset once the full game launches.

There are thankfully a few rewards that you can earn for the full game just by participating in either beta though, with the Lil’ Frog Weapon Charm and Star Flare Business Card up for grabs.
