Caleb Love height-American college basketball player, Caleb Kristopher Love was born on September 27th, 2001 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Love was coached by Justin Tatum, the father of NBA player Jayson Tatum, while he was a student at Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis, Missouri.
He switched to point guard his junior year, averaging 18.9 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. He guided the team to finish as Rock Bridge High School’s Class 5 runner-up.
As a senior, Love scored 40 points against Cardinal Ritter High School and a career-high 42 points against East St. Louis High School.
He led the team to the Class 5 Final Four as a senior, averaging 26.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.6 steals per game. Love was recognized as Missouri’s Gatorade and Mr. Show-Me Basketball Player of the Year.
After Larry Hughes in 1997, he was the second player from Christian Brothers to be selected a McDonald’s All-American.

Love made his college debut against the College of Charleston, leading all scorers with 17 points, four assists, and two steals.
Love scored 20 points in an 80-73 victory over Wake Forest on January 20, 2021.[8] Love was selected ACC Freshman of the Week on January 25, 2021.
Love defeated rival Duke 91-87 on February 6, 2021, with a career-high 25 points and 7 assists. Love received his second Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Freshman of the Week award on February 8, 2021.
He averaged 10.5 points and 3.5 assists per game, earning him a spot on the ACC All-Freshman Team. Roy Williams, the veteran head coach of the Tar Heels, retired after the campaign.
Love contemplated his options before deciding to play his sophomore season at Chapel Hill. In his first campaign, he averaged 10.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists.
Love was an important member of the “Iron Five” starting lineup in head coach Hubert Davis’ first campaign following the retirement of Williams.
He started alongside R. J. Davis, Leaky Black, Brady Manek, an Oklahoma transfer, and Armando Bacot. The “Iron Five” played a significant role in the team’s success down the stretch in their run to the National Championship game after what had initially been an up-and-down season for both Love and the rest of the team.
Love started all but one of the 39 games that were played that season, setting career highs in the overall number of games played, three-point field goal percentage, and games started categories.
He shot 37.1% from the field and 36% from beyond the arc on average during the season, averaging 15.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game.
In the Sweet Sixteen of the 2022 NCAA Tournament, Love led fourth-seeded UCLA 73-66 by scoring 27 of his career-high 30 points in the second half.
Love scored 28 points in the Tar Heels’ 81-77 victory over the Duke Blue Devils in the subsequent Final Four game against them, including a clutch three-pointer late in the game.
Love, Black, R.J. Davis, and Bacot all made the decision to come back for the 2022–23 season in light of the previous season’s late-season success. Despite having high expectations and a preseason No. 1 ranking, Love and his teammates’ season swiftly went south.
Love decided to play his senior season at Michigan after much speculation. Following his commitment to Michigan, Caleb decommits on May 17 and is re-announced to the transfer portal.
