Quinn’s football journey traces back to his high school years at Dublin Coffman High School in Dublin, Ohio. His talents and achievements at this stage earned him recognition, ranking sixth on the Detroit Free Press’s “Best of the Midwest” team and securing the 20th spot on ESPN’s list of the nation’s top 100 prospects.
In his junior year, 2001, Quinn made waves by throwing for 2,200 yards and 21 touchdowns, despite 15 interceptions. This outstanding performance played a pivotal role in leading Coffman to the Division I state semi-finals, resulting in a commendable 9–4 record.
The following year, as a senior in 2002, Quinn continued to excel. He threw for 2,149 yards and impressively managed 25 touchdowns with only four interceptions. His overall completion rate was 143 out of 258 pass attempts, and he displayed his versatility by rushing for 108 yards and scoring six touchdowns. His senior year concluded with an 8–3 record, and he had the honor of participating in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.
Brady Quinn’s achievements did not go unnoticed, as he was named the Columbus Dispatch and Ohio Capital Conference Offensive Player of the Year, in addition to securing an All-State title. Not limited to football, Quinn was a multi-sport athlete, earning recognition as an All-Conference baseball player during his junior year and contributing to his school’s 2001 State Championship win.
In a turning point in the fall of 2002, Quinn received a scholarship offer from Notre Dame, a pivotal moment sparked by a recommendation from fellow recruit Chinedum Ndukwe’s father.
Since his retirement from professional football, Brady Quinn has transitioned into a successful career as a sports analyst. He has been serving as a college football analyst for Big Noon Kickoff on Fox since August 2019 and also works as a color analyst for Fox’s NFL, college football, and XFL games.
In May 2021, he embarked on a co-hosting role for FOX Sports Radio’s weekday morning drive show, “Outkick The Coverage,” alongside Jonas Knox. This show later underwent rebranding as “2 Pros and a Cup of Joe” with Brady Quinn, LaVar Arrington, and Jonas Knox as co-hosts.
