Police Officers found him the following day in a car park holding jewelry and cash. The documents inside the jewelry box led detectives to the home of an 81-year-old woman who was found dead in her bedroom.

According to authorities, Billy Chemirmir targeted older women in the Dallas area for two (2) years, killing them and stealing their valuables. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole in April 2022.

Following his arrest, police across the area reexamined deaths and the charges against him grew. Chemirmir was suspected of killing more than two dozen elderly victims across Dallas and Collin counties.
