Best ways to get ThermoSap Crystals in Pacific Drive

ThermoSap Crystals are one of the most essential resources in Pacific Drive, as this material allows you to transform your regular car into an armoured vehicle. These crystals look similar to glowing red stones, enabling you to craft stronger parts for your car body, making them suitable for deadly areas.

However, you won’t find ThermoSap Crystals scattered across the Pacific Drive world, as they have a few fixed spawn locations. Therefore, I’ll walk you through a detailed breakdown of the best ways to farm ThermoSap Crystals in the game.

The best method to farm ThermoSap Crystals in Pacific Drive is by destroying the abandoned armoured vehicles, also known as abandoned squires, that can easily be found across the whole map. Unlike regular cars, you will find a luggage bracket on top of an abandoned squire, making it easy for you to spot them.

Once you find an armoured vehicle, use your scrapper to destroy its doors, panels, and rooftop, which will eventually drop numerous materials, including ThermoSap Crystals.

However, if you don’t want to follow this method, I suggest looking out for a special device called Sap Compressor that has a substantial amount of ThermoSap Crystals in storage. This mysterious device looks like a giant glowing red stone and drops a ton of ThermoSap Crystals when you use an impact hammer on it.

It’s worth noting that you won’t run into Sap Compressors during the initial stage of your exploration. As a result, you have to wait until the mid-game to encounter this device.
