There are a total of seven Grimoires in Black Grimoire Odyssey, varying in elemental ability. Usually the higher the rarity, the more powerful the Grimoire will be, as there will is a higher chance of obtaining additional spell slots through it.

How to get Grimoires in Black Grimoire Odyssey

If you’re in the market for a Grimoire in Black Grimoire Odyssey, you’ll need to visit Grimoires Tower, following the initial tutorial.
The tower is the largest in the opening complex and contains a large statue. Praying to the statue will grant you a Grimoire every 12 minutes.
Once you have a Grimoire, there is a 5% chance of getting one with a special ability. These special Grimoire abilities are listed below.

The following special abilities have a 5% chance of applying to a Grimoire you collect. These are:
- Protection Pulse – Increases defence for a short period of time
- Blast Pulse – Knockbacks enemies around you
- Health Pulse – Grants a healing spell
- Speed Pulse – Increases speed for a short period of time
- Mana Pulse – Increases mana regeneration for a short period of time
- Stealth Pulse – Grants invisibility for a short period of time
