You’re greeted by the crosshair selection screen the moment you first start up THE FINALS, leaving many players to wonder what the best colour and settings are to choose.
While perhaps not quite as vital as it would be in a game like Counter-Strike as you can aim down sights, your crosshair in the game remains still the basis of where you look, and thus getting it right is the key to picking up more kills across the various different maps.

While it might seem a little straightforward, going for the smallest possible crosshair in THE FINALS gives you the perfect balance between aiming and visibility.
As you can’t make the crosshair itself any smaller, making it super thin stops it from being too intrusive while also still giving you a guide for your initial ADS.

Once again, fairly straightforward, but the green crosshair has proven to be the most effective across pretty much every FPS title out there. It is distinguishable from any background noise and contrasts many of the enemy colours that you will encounter on the battlefield.
This is of course down to personal preference, and any colour that you can see clearly is good enough, but I have always found success with green crosshairs and have found them to be reliable when playing THE FINALS so far.
So, try these settings out in your next few games and see if it is the best crosshair for you too, as you should take any opportunity you can get to improve your aim in-game.
