The Straight Shot LTM is made to get competitors into the Battle Royale action quicker and give you all the tools to take on your opponents right away. For starters, the mode involves 10 squads being dropped into predetermined POIs.
In these locations, there are fully kitted guns and equipment, so there’s no need to worry about finding top-tier loot, as it will be at your fingertips.

On top of that, there are faster ring rounds, no jumpmasters, and a smaller map to encourage more action.

In the standard Battle Royale matches, you have to go all the way back to the lobby to queue for another match. While this gives you time to reset, this extra time can be frustrating when you just want to take down more enemies.
Luckily, Respawn has implemented an awesome feature with Straight Shot, that allows you to queue up for another game without having to go back to the menu screen.
This means there’s no downtime and also means if you have a poor performance, you can make up for it right away.
