Sarentu Totems are unique puzzles in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and finding them can be a little tricky – so we’re here to show you where you can find all of them and how to solve them easily.
Discovering and solving all the Sarentu Totems in the game will help you on your way to unlocking the Vision of the Ancestors trophy, and can be made much easier once you get your Ikran.
All Sarentu Totem locations
There are 12 Sarentu Totems in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, divided into the three regions of the Map.
Kinglor Forest Sarentu Totems

Gossamer Lakes | On top of a rock past the Tangled Lake and stone archway |
Silk Woods | Near a large archway just past the Home Tree in the area |
Spinner’s Circle | Atop a cliff outside of the bowl to the south of where the first research centre is |
Waterway Valley | Atop a cliff at the very southern edge of the map |
Upper Plains Sarentu Totems

Celebration Valley | On a cliff to the southeast of the Home Tree in the area |
Mother of Rivers | Close to the river just slightly south of the Celebration Valley Home Tree |
Mother of Rivers | At the bottom of the large rock north of the Celebration Valley Home Tree |
Mother of Rivers | To the west of the large rock mentioned in the entry above |
Eywa’s Reach | In the converging area between The Stone Hold, Step’s Cradle and Eywa’s Reach. |
Clouded Forest Sarentu Totems

How to solve Sarentu Totems in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
To solve the Sarentu Totem puzzles in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you must observe them from a specific location to take in the signifying landmark.

As you’ll see from the image above, each totem starts with a small flag that points in a specific direction. Keep following the flags and you’ll eventually find yourself in the observation spot, as shown below.

Once you make it to the observation spot, press the corresponding input to observe the Sarentu Totem and you’ll have solved the puzzle, putting you one step closer to the Vision of the Ancestors achievement.
