His journey also took him to Austria, briefly representing Favoritner AC, before making his mark with Belgian clubs like La Louviére, Mons, KAV Dendermonde, and SK Lombeek.

In March 2023, Amrouche assumed the role of head coach for Tanzania, leading them to the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. However, in January 2024, he faced suspension from the Tanzania Football Federation. This disciplinary action followed an eight-match ban and a $10,000 fine imposed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) due to Amrouche’s suggestion that Morocco exerted influence within CAF to manipulate match scheduling and officiating.
